398th Nuthampstead Memorial
February 19, 2010

At certain times of the year, weather permitting, as the sun goes down at Nuthampstead there is sometimes a most amazing experience. I was standing by the 398th memorial last Friday evening with my good friend Peter Brooke after we had finished inspecting the two flag poles to see what maintenance is required. Suddenly Peter said "look Ozz, quick, look at the sunset reflecting on the memorial". Neither of us had our cameras, just an iPhone each, but we did our best to capture a few precious minutes, a truly memorable experience. I thought I must share a couple with you.
Warmest regards
Ozzie

Christensens - June 13, 2010
L to R: Jeff, Steve & Don

Ozzie gave the visiting Christensens a twilight tour of 131 on Sunday evening after meeting them at Royston bus stop at 8.15 pm. It was raining on and off, with a distinctly chilly breeze, but we stood looking at their Dad's old 603rd BS dispersal way across the fields and the goose bumps were not all caused by the weather.

Reflections - May 6, 2010

I was in Nuthampstead on Mother's Day and my husband took the attached picture of my reflection as I looked at the 398th Memorial. I wanted to share it.
