Notes:

  1. These four photos were provided by Dorothy Crouch, wife of Jim Crouch.
  2. Jim Crouch flew with a several crews during the fall and winter of 1944 when it is presumed these photos were taken
  3. Jim Crouch was in the 601st and flew as Togglier or Waist Gunner during the fall and winter of 1944.
  4. Note parts from other B-17 in scrap pile to right in distance.
  5. Mr. Virgil R. Marco has identified, the tall officer as Lt. Ernest A. Schoen, Pilot. With this hint, it is hoped others can provide additional information on who is in the photo now that we think we know the crew name.
