  9. Final Disposition of A/C: Started with the 398th in Rapid City for training. Flown by the 601st to England and arrived 23 April 1944. Then transferred out on 27 April 1944 to the 381st. No operations with the 398th.
  10. Interpretive Comments: The nose art is a variation of the 601st squadron logo.
