Membership Categories:
- Veterans who were on active duty with the 398th during WWII.
- Spouses or blood relatives of a 398th veteran.
- Those who are sincerely interested in the 398th's heritage and future but have no prior relationship with the 398th organization.

Membership requirements:
A request for 398th membership begins with the payment of 398th BGMA Annual Dues. There is an annual dues payment (or a life membership) requirement to belong to the 398th and to receive the Flak News. Exempt from this requirement are spouses of deceased 398th members, special contacts such as museums and other 8th AF Bomb Group Associations.
Submit a written request for membership (no particular format is required) and a dues payment to the 398th Dues Manager. See address and current amount in 398th BGMA Annual Dues.
This will automatically place you on the Flak News mailing list. Assume the initial dues payment is for the current year. You will receive an annual dues notice by insert in your Flak News when your next payment is due.
The financial stability of the 398th Bomb Group Memorial Association and its ability to publish its official newsletter Flak News relies entirely on the payment of membership dues. The 398th is proud of the fact that many loyal and appreciative members make additional contributions to support the publication of Flak News and to assure the 398th will continue to exist.
